The Hub Orbit Base Chart Lab
A structured, distraction-free environment dedicated to the deliberate practice of multi-index technical analysis, live correlation calculation, and high-pressure chart diagnosis.
Where Theory Meets Real Market Microstructure
Reading a textbook or watching a recorded webinar provides conceptual knowledge, but building rapid, accurate chart pattern recognition requires thousands of hours of guided technical practice.
Our Chart Lab operates both at our physical studio in Chiang Mai and through low-latency interactive broadcast channels. In the lab, students work with historical tick-by-tick market replays, cross-index divergence scanners, and structured redline evaluation rubrics.
- Real-Time Synchronization: Multi-monitor layouts tracking US, European, and Asian indices simultaneously.
- Quantitative Guardrails: Mathematical correlation overlays directly integrated into technical charting.
- Live Instructor Redlines: Immediate critique of drawn support/resistance levels, trendline slopes, and invalidation points.
The Four Foundational Chart Lab Exercises
Every cohort participant completes over 30 hours of rigorous, repeatable charting drills designed to build instinctual intermarket competence.
The Lead-Lag Divergence Drill
Students are presented with synchronized 15-minute and 60-minute charts of the NASDAQ-100, S&P 500, and Russell 2000 during historical market turning points. Under a 3-minute timer, students must identify non-confirmations, highlight the leading index, and calculate precise invalidation thresholds.
Sector Rotation Heatmap Construction
Learn to calculate and plot rolling 10-day Relative Strength Comparison (RSC) lines between benchmark ETFs (XLK, XLF, XLE, XLI, XLU) and the broad index. Identify early institutional rotation out of cyclical sectors into defensive havens before broad index charts break down.
The Volatility Stress Simulation
Simulate severe market regime shifts by playing back high-volatility sessions (e.g. CPI releases, emergency rate decisions). Students must adjust their position sizing, widen invalidation bands according to VIX term structure, and eliminate low-probability continuation setups.
The Structured Session Autopsy
Following live clinics, students conduct a 4-step chart autopsy: comparing their morning hypothesis with the closing reality, categorizing analytical vs execution errors, and logging annotated failure modes into their personal repository.
Saturday Live Chart Review Format
A weekly centerpiece of our curriculum where students present real setups and receive instructor feedback.
